STRAWBERRY PRETZEL SALAD 2 c. mashed pretzels 1/2 c. sugar 1 c. melted margarine 8 oz. cream cheese 1/2 c. sugar small Cool Whip 1 large pkg. strawberry Jell-O 2 c. boiling water 1/2 c. cold water 16 oz. pkg. frozen strawberries In a bowl mix pretzels, the first 1/2 cup of sugar and margarine. Press into a 9 x 13-inch pan. Let cool. Cream the cream cheese. Whip in sugar and Cool Whip. Put this mixture on top of pretzel mixture. Refrigerate for 2 hours. Mix Jell-O with cold water and boiling water until dissolved. Add frozen strawberries. Spread onto mixture. Return to refriger- ator until firm.
