BACON AND WATER CHESTNUTS IN BARBECUE SAUCE 3 cans whole water chestnuts 1 c. soy sauce 1 lb. bacon 1 (8 oz.) jar grape jelly 1 bottle chili sauce Marinate water chestnuts in soy sauce. Wrap a slice of bacon around each water chestnut. Secure with a toothpick. Broil until bacon is crisp. Mix jelly and chili sauce in pan; heat over low heat. Pour on top of water chestnuts. Deli- cious. The sauce is also good served as a dip for kielbasa.
