HUMUS (ISRAELI) 1 can chick peas 1/2 c. tahini 1 chopped onion 4 to 5 Tbsp. lemon juice (fresh) 1/2 Tbsp. olive oil (extra virgin) 4 to 5 garlic cloves, crushed salt and pepper to taste Blend chick peas in blender until smooth. Combine all ingredients with chick peas. Chill 1/2 hour. Correct season- ings to taste.
