BLACKBERRY AND CHERRY JAM 2 qt. blackberries 1 lb. sweet cherries, pitted 7 c. sugar 1 lemon 1/2 orange 1 pouch Certo 1/2 c. nut meats (optional) Grind the lemon and orange. Add to berries, cherries and sugar. Cook slow 1/2 hour, then bring to boil. Boil hard one minute; remove from heat and add Certo. Stir and skim off foam. Add nut meats if desired. Pour into glasses and cover with paraffin.
