POPCORN BALLS 3 qt. freshly popped corn 1 c. Karo light syrup 1 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla Turn popcorn into large bowl. Place in warm oven. In 2 quart saucepan stir together corn syrup, sugar and salt. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until mixture comes to a boil. Cook without stirring 4 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Slowly pour over popped corn mixing well. When cool enough to handle yet still quite warm, quickly shape into balls. Makes about 12 (3-inch) balls.
