AVOCADO-BACON SANDWICH 1/4 c. buttermilk 1/2 c. mayonnaise 2 Tbsp. chopped onion 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce dash of garlic salt 2 oz. Blue cheese (1/2 c.), crumbled 6 slices rye bread, toasted leaf lettuce 12 slices bacon, cooked 3 medium avocados, peeled and sliced 1 lemon, cut into 6 wedges Put first 5 ingredients in blender container. Add half the cheese. Cover and run on high speed until smooth. Stir in remaining cheese. Spread each toast slice generously with dressing. Top each with lettuce, 2 slices bacon and avocado slices. Drizzle remaining dressing over. Garnish with lemon.
