TRIFLE

sponge cake
1 pkg. strawberry jello
1/4 c. cold milk
1/4 c. hot milk
2 eggs, separated
1/2 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. whiskey
1 pt. whipping cream
tart jelly
peaches
bananas

Cut sponge cake into cubes and place in bottom of large
dessert bowl. Pour approximately 1 tablespoon of prepared
jello over this. Add layer of sliced bananas. Next a layer of
sponge, then add layer of prepared custard. Next a layer of
sliced peaches, then cake, jello, bananas, etc., finishing with
remaining jello. Add a little wine to each layer for addition-
al flavoring if desired. Set in refrigerator. Delicious
dessert.
