BAKED CRABMEAT-CHEESE SANDWICHES

16 slices white bread (crusts
removed)
2 medium or 1 large can Alaska
crabmeat
8 slices American cheese
5 eggs
1 qt. milk
mayonnaise
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

Place 8 slices bread in single layer in baking dish;
spread with mayonnaise. Crumble crabmeat over top and lay
slice of cheese over top of crabmeat. Spread remaining 8
slices of bread with mayonnaise on both sides and place on top.
Beat together eggs, milk, salt and pepper; pour over sandwich-
es. Place in refrigerator 4 to 6 hours. Bake in 325 degrees to 350 degrees
oven for 3/4 to 1 hour. Serve immediately. Delicious for a
luncheon!
