TOMATO JUICE

Select firm, ripe tomatoes. Wash, scald, peel and cut
in small pieces. Simmer until soft. Stir occasionally. Put
through sieve fine enough to remove seeds. Bring juice to
boiling and pour immediately into jars, filling to within
1/2-inch of top. Put on cap, screw band firmly tight. Process
in boiling water bath for 35 minutes.
