KETCHUP 1 bushel tomatoes 4 hot peppers 9 onions 9 c. sugar 8 c. vinegar 1/2 c. salt 1 box mixed pickling spices Cook tomatoes, peppers and onions. Then put through a food mill; then put in a bag and drain water out of tomatoes. Let stand overnight. Use pulp in bag. Then add 9 cups sugar, 8 cups vinegar, 1/2 cup salt and (1 box mixed pickling spices in a bag). Cook 20 minutes after it starts to boil. Can up.
