PEGGIE'S BEER BATTER 1 1/2 c. Bisquick 1/2 c. Argo cornstarch 1 egg 1 c. beer (room temperature) Mix cornstarch with Bisquick (do not sift). Mix beer and egg together with fork or spoon, then add dry ingredients and let stand at room temperature for 1 hour or more. Stir occasionally. Dry fish thoroughly before dipping fish into batter. Deep-fry until golden brown. Grease must be 375 degrees. Batter will coat about 20 pieces of fish.
