EGGNOG 6 eggs 1 3/4 c. sugar 1 qt. half and half* 1 pt. whipping cream vanilla to taste nutmeg Separate egg yolks; set whites aside. Beat yolks well. Slowly add sugar and beat well. Add half and half. Add vanilla and beat well. Fold in well beaten egg whites. Chill until time to serve, THEN whip cream and stir into mixture. It will be creamy on top. Dust with ground nutmeg. *Homogenized milk may be used instead of half and half. It will not be as rich.
