HOMEMADE VANILLA ICE CREAM 2 c. sugar 2 Tbsp. flour 1/4 tsp. salt 4 c. milk 2 eggs, slightly beaten Mix sugar, flour and salt. Add milk and eggs. Cook 10 minutes over boiling water. Cool, strain. Add 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla and 1 pint thickening cream. Add milk to freezer capacity. Freeze.
